Available for freelance work

Elijah
Ogunbiyi.

I build online stores, marketplaces, news sites and mobile apps from the database up, plus custom AI agents and AI-powered dashboards for businesses that want their data to do more. Right now my code is taking orders on Ogascounty and serving readers on LettsTV every day.

Selected work

Seven projects across e-commerce, media, AI and mobile. Open any of them for the full story: what the client needed, what I built and how it turned out.

E-commerce 01 / 07

A faith-inspired clothing brand that ships worldwide. I built the whole store: products sync in from Printify, payments run through Stripe, and every paid order goes off to print on its own, so nobody has to push orders along.

Marketplace 02 / 07

A marketplace with its own apps for shoppers, sellers, delivery riders and admins. Seven apps, one backend. A customer can split one order across several addresses, and each parcel gets its own rider and live tracking, all from a single payment.

News & media 03 / 07

A Nigerian news platform covering politics, business, tech and sport. I’ve been its only engineer since the first line of code, and I built its AI editorial pipeline: stories are prepared automatically, and an editor approves every one before it goes live.

AI assistant 04 / 07

My own AI assistant for the desktop. Ask her for a website and she writes it, tests every link, fixes what’s broken and opens it on your screen. She drives a real browser and real apps, and you can simply talk to her.

SaaS · Social media 05 / 07

A free alternative to Buffer. Write a post once, pick your channels and a time, and Postal publishes it for you. If a platform glitches halfway through, it tries again without ever posting twice.

Mobile · Messaging 06 / 07

An Android messenger with chats, channels and video messages. It finds your friends without uploading your contacts: numbers are scrambled on your phone first, so the server never sees your address book.

Level 1

Games 07 / 07

An arcade maze game I wrote in C. Every level is generated fresh and checked so it can always be finished, and two friends can play together online without lag. The maze on this card is being built live.

What I can build for you.

If it runs on the web, a phone or a desktop and needs a solid backend behind it, there’s a good chance I’ve built something like it. Not sure where your idea fits? Start with a technical consultation.

About

Hi, I’m Elijah.

I’m a full-stack engineer from Lagos. For the last four years I’ve built products from end to end: the database, the backend, the web and mobile apps on top, and the servers they run on.

That means one person understands your whole product. No passing work between five freelancers, and no finger-pointing when something breaks. I’ve done it for an online store, a marketplace, a news site and a handful of apps, and lately I’ve been doing a lot with AI, including building my own assistant, FREYA.

I’m taking on freelance projects now, and I also do technical consultations if you want a second opinion before you build. If you’ve got a store to launch, an agent to build, a dashboard your team will actually use, or an old system that needs rescuing, I’d love to hear about it.

Full CV (PDF)
  1. Jul 2025 – Present · Lagos

    AI Engineer · Lustrew Dynamics

I build AI agents and the systems around them. I joined as a full-stack engineer and moved onto the AI team after six months.

  2. 2023 – Present · Remote

    Full-Stack Engineer · OTESC

I build and run OTESC’s products, including Ogascounty, LettsTV and the OTESC Store marketplace. I moved our apps off an old stack onto FastAPI and Next.js, set up automatic releases, and cut the hosting bill by 78% by moving four live apps onto our own server.

  3. 2025 · 6-month contract · Remote

Backend Engineer · Food Surplus Limited

I built their inventory system for food distribution. Stock updates in real time across five distribution centres, stays correct when two people change the same item at once, and each team only sees what it should.

  4. 2022 – 2023 · Lagos

Mobile App Developer, Intern · Bincom Dev Center

Built React Native features for iOS and Android, made slow screens faster, and chased down the crashes that only ever happen on one platform.
